Hi, I’m John Haaland, founder of Northstar Alchemy.

For much of my life, I’ve lived in the world of business, leadership, growth, responsibility, and performance. I’ve led teams, built organizations, worked across industries, and spent decades helping people and companies move ideas into meaningful action.

But alongside that professional path, I’ve also been drawn to a deeper question:

Who are we beneath the roles, pressure, achievement, and circumstances that so often define us?

Northstar Alchemy was created as a space for that question — a place where grounded reflection, personal growth, spiritual curiosity, and practical forward movement can meet.

This work brings together my experience in leadership, coaching, personal transformation, and lived inquiry. It is not about giving you a formula for becoming someone else. It is about helping you reconnect with the worth that was never dependent on achievement, approval, success, or circumstance in the first place.

My role is not to tell you who you are.

It is to help create a space where you can remember.
